Fair use: each plan has a daily limit on checks, so one code cannot be shared widely. A refused check is not charged. See the Terms.
You pay at checkout inside the app after choosing a plan. See the refund policy. WritSpeak bands are AI-generated practice estimates, not official IELTS results. WritSpeak is not affiliated with IELTS, the British Council or IDP.
Questions about plans
Do I need to register?
No. You can try one Writing check on the home page, and your first Writing and Speaking checks in the app, without registering. A free account takes seconds and uses an emailed link, with no password.
What does the free account include?
14 days with one Writing assessment, one Speaking assessment and one correction. It is a one-time allowance.
How do paid plans work, and can I cancel?
Plans are one-time payments for a fixed period and do not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel. See the refund policy for details.
Is my data stored?
WritSpeak saves your scores and progress, not your essay text. Recordings are turned into text for marking and are not stored. Your answers are processed by our AI and transcription providers to produce feedback.
